Dr. Brian Vitelli, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Brian Vitelli grew up in New Haven, Connecticut, and did his undergraduate studies at Purdue University and is a 1982 graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. He founded and owned Dr. Bryan’s Pet Practice and Foxon Veterinary Hospital in East Haven, CT. He holds master’s degrees in Biology, Entomology, and Public Health and has taught at the high school and college levels. He is also a lay pastor.

Dr. Vitelli’s interests include but are not limited to veterinary science, biology, entomology, and theology. Dr. Vitelli is a bird watcher and nature enthusiast. He currently lives on a farm in Haddam with Callie the Calico, Dancing Dog, and a couple of strays that come and go.

Dr. Kelly Chameroy, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Chameroy was born and raised in Manchester, CT, and obtained her BS and MS in Animal Science at UCONN. She obtained her Ph.D. in metabolic disorders in horses at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Her time there re-lit a spark that she had as a child to become a veterinarian. The obtained her DVM from the University of Tennessee as well. After a brief time working with the USDA, she returned to CT to be closer to family.



Her interests include behavior, and alternative therapies such as cold laser therapy, and has developed an appreciation for general dentistry. She loves to troubleshoot and welcomes working with owners to develop a shared plan for their fur babies.



In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, working jigsaw puzzles, and on occasion crafts. She is dog Mom to a special boy named Fizzgig with neurological issues, as well as a Beagle named Sandy (aka Piglet), and a Dachshund named Remy.
